HT Instruments SOLAR300N Solar Installation Efficiency Recorder & Power Quality Analyzer

Description

The HT Instruments SOLAR300N is a Power Quality Analyzer and PV system efficiency tester, not an I-V curve tracer. While it measures the overall efficiency of a photovoltaic (PV) system, it does not trace the characteristic current-voltage curve of individual panels or strings. That function is performed by a different line of dedicated I-V curve tracer products from HT Instruments.

Key Features

• Touchscreen interface: The unit is operated via a graphical TFT color display with a touchscreen.
• Remote measurement unit: To ensure simultaneous measurements of inverter power and solar irradiance/panel temperature, the SOLAR300N is paired with a remote unit (SOLAR02).
• Efficiency testing: It can analyze the DC and AC sides of an inverter at the same time to determine its efficiency.
• Pass/fail evaluation: The instrument provides a simple "OK" or "NOT OK" result for tests, eliminating the need for extensive data interpretation.
