Description

The Mastech MS2302 Digital Earth Resistance Tester is a professional instrument designed for measuring the resistance of grounding systems. It is particularly well-suited for testing the earth resistance of power lines, electrical equipment, and appliances, using either the 2-pole or 3-pole measurement method. It is a more basic model compared to the MS2308, lacking some of the advanced features.

Key Features
  • Measurement modes: It supports standard 2-pole and 3-pole testing methods.
  • Constant current conversion: An internal constant current inverter produces a test current of about 3mA at 800Hz to accurately measure earth resistance.
  • Display: Features a large digital LCD with a 4000-count resolution, a segments bar graph, and a backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
  • Data management: It includes data logging capabilities, allowing it to store up to 99 or 100 groups of measured data, which is retained even after power loss.
  • Auto and manual ranging: Offers flexibility for various testing conditions.
  • MAX/MIN/AVG: Records the maximum, minimum, and average values during a measurement session.
  • Relative measurement: Allows comparison against a stored reference value.
  • Auto power-off: Helps conserve battery life.
