Description

The Megger BK-30191 is a handheld micro-ohmmeter kit that includes the Megger MOM3 instrument and a 1.3 m Kelvin probe cable set. The MOM3 is a robust, battery-powered device designed for measuring very low resistance in critical electrical components, particularly in fieldwork.

  • High test current: Can deliver a selectable test current from 5A up to 300A for measuring contact resistance in high-current applications.
  • Ultracapacitor technology: Uses ultracapacitors to generate a high, instantaneous current output, which allows for rapid, successive testing without significant battery drain. The ultra-short measurement time prevents the test object from heating up.
  • High mobility: The MOM3 is lightweight (1.15 kg) and battery-operated, making it ideal for on-site and hard-to-reach test locations.
  • Wide measurement range: Features an auto-ranging function that measures resistance from 0.1 µΩ to 3000 mΩ (3 Ω).
  • Durable design: Comes with a strong rubber body and an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for industrial environments.
  • Data storage and transfer: Can store over 2,000 test values internally and transfer the data to a PC via USB-C for analysis and report generation.
