Description

The Megger MIT430/2 is a handheld insulation and continuity tester designed for a wide range of applications, from general electrical installations to more specific uses in industrial, automotive, and avionics settings. It is part of the MIT400 Mk2 series and offers enhanced testing features over its predecessors.

• Variable test voltage: Allows for any intermediate test voltage from 10 V to 1000 V in 1 V steps.
• Faster continuity testing: Includes a single auto-ranging function from 0.01 Ω to 1.0 MΩ. It also offers 200 mA and 20 mA test options.
• Advanced diagnostic testing: Comes standard with Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) functions.
• Data storage and connectivity: Equipped with onboard memory to store over 1000 test results and a Bluetooth wireless interface for downloading data to a PC.
• Dual digital/analog display: Features a patented dual digital and analog arc display, which shows both precise digital readings and the real-time movement of a traditional analog meter.
• Safety and durability: The instrument has a CAT IV 600 V safety rating and an IP54 weatherproof rating, with a tough, rubber-molded outer case for enhanced protection. It also includes live circuit detection to inhibit testing on energized circuits.
