• Compatibility with transmitters: For more accurate and extensive detection, the DD120 can be used with a compatible signal transmitter, like the DA220. The transmitter induces a signal onto non-energized metallic lines or can be used with accessories to locate non-metallic utilities.
• Hazard Zone alert: This safety feature provides a distinct warning to the user if a shallow utility is detected within 30cm, prompting a change in excavation methods.
• Depth estimation: When used with a signal transmitter or sonde, the DD120 can provide an estimate of the utility's depth.
