Description
Intrinsically Safe LED Flashlight For those who may not know, intrinsically safe flashlights are explosion-proof and are built to be used in dangerous locations. The Fenix WF30RE is internationally explosion-proof certified and passed the tests of IECEx, ATEX, and CSA. With these certifications, the Fenix WF30R has been proven to be safe in both explosive gas environments and explosive dust environments. This intrinsically safe flashlight has been certified for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, and Zone 22. This is the very first rechargeable intrinsically safe light that Fenix has come out with. It comes with the ARB-L21-2600Ex lithium-ion battery, a specialized battery that is explosion-proof and rechargeable. On the neck of the WF30RE, you’ll see the charging port. It's important to charge the light using the charging protector because it keeps the intrinsically safe circuit from being damaged.
Simple LED Flashlight Operation Operating the Fenix WF30RE intrinsically safe flashlight is easy and doesn't have much of a learning curve to it. It has a single side switch that allows you to turn the light on and off and select which brightness level you want. Simply hold the switch for half a second to turn the flashlight on and off. When the flashlight is on, you can single click to cycle through the brightness levels starting with low and going to high. The WF30RE features a memory circuit so the light will remember the last brightness level you used and turn on to that brightness level the next time you use your light. With this light, you have four outputs: high of 280 lumens, medium of 120 lumens, low of 30 lumens, and a strobe mode of 280 lumens. Between these brightness levels, you're set for a multitude of situations. The low brightness level will conserve the battery more and is great for close-up work or illuminating your path. The high brightness level lets you see a bit further and is better to use if you need to light up a wider area.
