The Mastech MS7221 is a specialized process calibrator, designed for the accurate testing and calibration of voltage and current signals in industrial and laboratory settings. Unlike a standard multimeter, its primary function is to both measure and generate precise DC voltage and current signals to test and calibrate other instruments.

- DC voltage (V) calibration: The MS7221 can both measure and source DC voltage up to 10V with high accuracy. It includes a smaller range for millivolts (mV).
- DC current (mA) calibration: It can measure and source DC current in a 0 to 24mA range, with a resolution of 0.001mA. This is ideal for calibrating 4-20mA process control loops.
