Description

The Megger MIT210 is a digital and analog insulation and continuity tester designed for professional electrical contracting, maintenance, and service applications. It is one of the most compact and lightweight insulation testers on the market.

Key features
  • Test voltage: The MIT210-EN model offers a fixed 1000V test voltage. Other variants in the MIT200 series provide different voltage options.
  • Insulation testing: It can measure insulation resistance up to 1000 MΩ. It also includes an auto-discharge feature to safely discharge circuits after testing.
  • Continuity testing: The tester automatically performs a continuity test at 200 mA, with a resolution of 0.01Ω. It has a buzzer that operates at a threshold of less than 2Ω for rapid testing.
  • Safety features: Built-in safety features include automatic voltage detection and a "test inhibit" function that prevents insulation tests on circuits with more than 50V. It is rated for use on applications up to 600V CAT III and conforms to EN61557-1.
  • Display: The display combines a digital readout for precise readings with an analog arc for observing circuit charge and discharge characteristics, using Megger's DART technology.
  • Portability and power: The tester is housed in a tough ABS casing and is small enough to fit into a pocket. It runs on 6 AA alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries
