Description

The Megger TPT420 is a versatile two-pole voltage tester designed for electricians and electrical engineers. It features both LCD and LED displays and offers AC and DC voltage measurements, a continuity function, and an integrated LED torch.

Key Features
  • Voltage Measurement: It measures AC voltage from 12 to 1000 V and DC voltage from 12 to 1500 V.
  • Safety Rating: The TPT420 has a CAT IV 1000 V safety rating and an IP64 housing, conforming to safety standards like IEC/EN 61243-3.
  • Displays: The tester utilizes both LCD and LED displays. The LED indication is for specific voltage levels, while the LCD provides a more detailed reading.
  • Continuity: It includes an audible and visual continuity function with a range of 0 to 500 kΩ.
  • Battery and Safety: Even with exhausted batteries, the device will still warn the operator of hazardous test voltages. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries.
  • RCD Protection: The tester operates below the tripping threshold of RCDs, RCBOs, and safety breakers to avoid accidental disconnections when testing phase-to-earth.
  • Phase Rotation: It simplifies the phase rotation test, eliminating the need to cross test probes.
  • Additional Features: The TPT420 also includes an integrated torch for working in low-light conditions and a single-pole voltage indication test.
