The Megger CHM2000 is a non-contact, ultrasonic cable height meter specifically designed for telecommunication applications. It is a safe and easy-to-use tool that can measure the height of up to six overhead cables or wires.

  • Measurement range: 7 to 35 feet (2 to 10.7 meters).
  • Resolution: 1/4" (5 mm) for distances under 10 meters and 1/2" (10 mm) for distances over 10 meters.
  • Accuracy: Typically less than 0.5% error ±2 digits.
  • Safety: Inherently safe with no physical connection to the cables required.
  • Ease of use: Features simple, three-button operation.
  • Portability: It is a lightweight, handheld, and portable instrument.
  • Battery life: Provides more than 50,000 measurements on a 9V alkaline battery.
  • Other features: Includes automatic power-off to conserve battery and a battery condition indicator.
