The Mitutoyo 104-144A Outside Micrometer is an analog micrometer with interchangeable anvils, designed for external diameter measurements in the range of 500 to 600 mm. 

Key features
  • Metric vernier scale: Allows for accurate measurement of external diameters with a graduation of 0.01 mm.
  • High accuracy: Provides a high level of precision, with an accuracy of \(\pm (4+\frac{L}{75})\ \mu m\), where \(L\) is the maximum range in millimeters.
  • Carbide-tipped measuring faces: Features a carbide-tipped, micro-lap finish spindle and a hardened steel anvil for increased durability and resistance to wear.
  • Interchangeable anvils: The set comes with four interchangeable anvils, enabling the micrometer to cover a broad measuring range.
  • Ratchet stop mechanism: Ensures consistent measuring pressure for repeatable and precise results.
  • Satin chrome finish: The thimble and sleeve have a satin chrome finish for easy reading.
  • Protective casing: The frame is protected by a baked enamel coating to resist wear and tear.
  • Spindle lock: The spindle can be locked to securely hold a measurement.
