The Mitutoyo 114-124 5 Flute V-Anvil Micrometer is an analog tool designed to measure the outside diameter of cutting tools with an odd number of flutes, such as taps, reamers, and end mills. The "V" shape of the anvil ensures a precise, accurate, and stable measurement.

  • Durable construction: The anvil and spindle are made of hardened steel, and the frame has a baked enamel finish for longevity.
  • Ease of use: A ratchet-stop mechanism applies constant measuring force for reliable results, and the satin chrome finish on the sleeve and laser-etched markings on the thimble make readings easy to see.
  • Measuring versatility: Can also be used to measure the pitch diameter of taps with a centerline groove using the single-wire method.
