The Mitutoyo 124-178 Series 124 Interchangeable Ball Anvil-Type Gear Tooth Micrometer is an analog tool designed for measuring the over-pin diameter of gears. It features a metric measurement range of 125 to 150 mm with a graduation of 0.01 mm.

Key features
  • Interchangeable measuring faces: The precision carbide ball-tipped anvil and spindle tips can be interchanged to measure various gear modules (0.5 to 5.25). The tips are made of carbide to resist wear.
  • Ratchet stop: This mechanism applies a constant force to the workpiece, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements. It provides an audible click when the proper pressure is reached.
  • Satin chrome finish: The thimble and sleeve have a satin chrome finish for easier reading.
  • Non-slip frame: The frame has a non-slip finish for better grip in workshop environments.
  • Standard bar: The micrometer includes a standard bar for calibration.
