The Mitutoyo 201-101 Dial Snap Series 201 Gauge is a precision measuring tool for making quick go/no-go judgments of the diameters of cylinders and shafts. It features a metric measuring range of 0–25mm and is designed for use with a separately sold dial indicator.

  • Quick go/no-go judgment: Specifically designed for fast pass/fail determination of parts in manufacturing environments.
  • Metric range: Provides a 0–25mm measurement capacity.
  • Carbide-tipped anvils: The measuring faces are wide (13.5 x 12mm), flat, and tipped with long-lasting carbide. The front edges are chamfered for easy part insertion.
  • Consistent measuring force: Ensures uniform and repeatable measurement by applying a constant measuring force of 15N ± 3N.
  • High parallelism: Guarantees accurate measurement with a parallelism specification of 5µm or less.
  • Stable repeatability: Offers stable and repeatable indications with a value of 2µm or less (excluding the dial indicator's repeatability).
  • Anvil retracting stroke: The anvil retracts up to 2mm for easy positioning of workpieces.
