The Mitutoyo 201-161 Dial Snap Gauge is an analog measuring instrument used to perform fast go/no-go judgments of the outside diameters of cylindrical and shaft-like workpieces. It is part of the Mitutoyo 201 series and has a measurement range of 10 to 11 inches.

Key features

  • Application: Designed for quick go/no-go judgment of diameters of cylinders and shafts, particularly during machining processes.
  • Anvils: Features wide (13.5 x 12 mm or 0.53 x 0.47 in), flat carbide-tipped anvils with a micro-lapped finish. The front edges are chamfered for easy insertion of the workpiece.
  • Measurement range: 10 to 11 inches (254 to 279.4 mm).
  • Indicator: The dial indicator is optional, allowing users to select the most suitable indicator for their specific application. A recommended indicator is the 2803SB-10 (0.0001" reading).
  • Ergonomics: Includes a thermally insulating grip and a workpiece stop for improved handling.
