The Mitutoyo 368-162 Holtest Inside Micrometer is a non-digital, three-point internal micrometer designed for measuring the diameter of bores with high precision. It provides stable, accurate, and repeatable measurements through its self-centering anvils and ratchet stop mechanism.

  • Three self-centering anvils: Spaced at 120°, these hardened-steel anvils automatically center the micrometer within the bore, ensuring true alignment and accurate, repeatable internal diameter measurements.
  • Ratchet stop mechanism: This feature applies a constant and uniform measuring force to the spindle, eliminating inconsistencies between operators and ensuring reliable results every time.
  • High precision: With a resolution of 0.001mm and an accuracy of \(\pm 0.002\) mm, this micrometer delivers the high level of precision expected for demanding applications.
  • Measurement of blind holes: The design allows for taking measurements closer to the bottom of blind bore holes, which is a key advantage over some other measuring tools.
