The Mitutoyo 368-179 Holtest Inside Micrometer is a non-digital, three-point internal micrometer used for accurately measuring the inner diameter of bores. It has a measurement range of 225 to 250 mm and features a self-centering mechanism for consistent measurements.

Key features
  • Self-centering action: The three anvils are spaced 120° apart, providing a stable, self-centering measurement that helps eliminate operator variations.
  • Ratchet stop: The built-in ratchet stop applies a constant measuring force, which ensures accurate and repeatable measurements.
  • Measures deep bores: The micrometer can be used with an optional extension rod to measure deep holes.
  • Measures blind holes: The titanium-coated measuring pins are designed to allow measurements to be taken closer to the bottom of blind bores.
  • Laser-etched scale: The scale on the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched, which makes for easier reading.
