The Mitutoyo 368-766 Holtest (Type II) is a three-point vernier internal micrometer designed for precise inside diameter measurements in bores. It features three alloy steel anvils that are spaced at 120° for self-centering and repeatable measurements.

  • Three-point contact: Features three self-centering anvils positioned 120° apart for repeatable measurements that ensure true alignment with the bore's axis.
  • High precision: Offers a resolution/graduation of 0.005mm and a high accuracy of $\pm 0.003$mm.
  • Constant force mechanism: A built-in ratchet stop applies consistent measuring force to the hardened steel spindle, which helps reduce operator-to-operator variation and ensures accurate readings.
  • Measurement scale: The scale on both the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched, which makes for easier reading in different lighting conditions.
