The Mitutoyo 368-773 Holtest Inside Micrometer, type II, 87 to 100 mm is a mechanical, three-point micrometer used for accurately measuring the inside diameters of bores and deep holes. The Type II model is an economical version with hardened tool-steel anvils instead of the titanium-coated anvils found on standard Holtests.

  • Automatic centering: The three-point contact design with anvils spaced 120° apart enables the tool to automatically center itself for stable and repeatable measurements.
  • Ratchet stop: Provides a constant measuring force to ensure consistent and accurate readings.
  • Economical construction: The use of hardened tool-steel anvils makes this a more cost-effective option compared to models with titanium-coated carbide anvils, while maintaining the same accuracy.
  • Deep hole measurement: The measuring depth can be extended with an optional extension rod.
  • Laser-etched scale: The scale on the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched for easier and clearer reading.
  • Case: Comes supplied in a fitted plastic case.
