The Mitutoyo 368-774 Holtest Inside Micrometer is a mechanical three-point bore micrometer designed for measuring the internal dimensions of bores. It is a Type II model, which means it uses hardened alloy steel contact points for an economical price compared to other versions with titanium-coated contact points.

Key features
  • Self-centering: The three anvils are evenly spaced at 120°, allowing the micrometer to self-center for accurate, repeatable measurements of bore diameters.
  • Blind bore measurement: The design allows for measurements to be taken closer to the bottom of a blind bore.
  • Constant force: A ratchet stop provides a constant measuring force to prevent uneven measurements.
  • Optional extension: An optional extension rod can be attached to measure deep holes.
  • Clear markings: The scale on the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched for easier reading.
  • Durability: A hardened steel spindle with carbide components ensures the micrometer's accuracy and durability over time.
