The Mitutoyo 368-776 Holtest (Type II) is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer designed to measure the inside dimensions of bores in a range of 150 to 175 mm. The Type II model features hardened alloy steel anvils for economical pricing while maintaining accuracy.

Key features

  • Economical: The Type II series uses hardened tool-steel anvils instead of titanium-coated carbide, resulting in a more affordably priced tool.
  • Three-point contact: The three anvils are spaced evenly at 120° for automatic self-centering in the bore, allowing for stable and accurate measurements.
  • Constant force: A Ratchet Stop mechanism provides a constant measuring force, which is essential for repeatable measurements.
  • Blind bore measurement: The design allows for taking measurements close to the bottom of blind bores.
  • Clear display: The scale on the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched to improve legibility.
  • Deep hole measurement: An optional extension rod can be used to measure deep holes.
