The Mitutoyo 368-880 Holtest Inside Micrometer is a mechanical three-point bore gauge with a measuring range of 10 to 11 inches. It features three alloyed steel anvils for accurate self-centering measurements of internal bore diameters.

Key features

  • Self-centering measurement: The three contact points are spaced at 120° for true alignment and easily repeatable measurements.
  • Economical design: The "Type II" designation indicates that this model uses hardened tool-steel anvils instead of the more expensive titanium-coated carbide, but maintains the same accuracy as the standard Holtest models.
  • Ratchet stop: A built-in ratchet mechanism provides a constant, repeatable measuring force, which helps reduce errors caused by different operators.
  • Blind bore measurement: The design allows for measurements to be taken closer to the bottom of blind bore holes.
  • Optional extension rod: For measuring deeper holes, an optional extension rod can be attached.
  • Laser-etched scale: The thimble and sleeve are laser-etched to improve readability in various lighting conditions.
