The Mitutoyo 368-914 Holtest Micrometer Set is a high-precision, analog tool for measuring the inside diameters of bores and holes. It is designed for professional use in manufacturing and inspection.

Key features
  • 3-point contact: Three anvils are evenly spaced at 120° for superior self-centering. This design ensures stable and highly repeatable measurements by maintaining true alignment with the bore's axis.
  • Ratchet stop: A constant-force ratchet stop mechanism provides consistent measuring pressure. This minimizes measurement variations between different operators.
  • Laser-etched scale: The analog scale is etched by laser on both the thimble and sleeve for easy and reliable reading in all conditions. 
  • TiN-coated contact points: The measuring pins are coated with Titanium Nitride (TiN) to provide excellent durability, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance. The pin material is hardened steel, ensuring added toughness.
  • Blind hole measurement: The design of the measuring pins and contact points allows for measurements right to the bottom of blind holes.
