The Mitutoyo 368-997 Holtest Micrometer Set, type II, is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer set with a measurement range of 2.0 to 4.0 inches. It is designed for accurate measurement of internal bore diameters. This set includes four separate gauges to cover the full measurement range and comes with two setting rings, an extension rod, and a fitted wooden case.

  • Measurement range: 2.0 to 4.0 inches, with individual micrometers covering 2.0–2.5", 2.5–3.0", 3.0–3.5", and 3.5–4.0".
  • Accuracy: ±0.00015".
  • Graduations: 0.0002".
  • Three-point contact: Three alloyed-steel measuring anvils are spaced at 120° apart for self-centering and accurate alignment within the bore.
  • Blind hole measurements: The design of the contact points allows for measurements to be taken close to the bottom of blind holes.
  • Ratchet stop: A ratchet mechanism provides a constant, uniform measuring force, which ensures consistent and repeatable results.
  • Alloyed-steel anvils: The contact points are made of durable alloyed steel.
