The Hioki FT4310 is a bypass diode tester designed for the maintenance and inspection of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. It allows for the detection of open and short-circuit faults in bypass diodes during daylight hours without needing to cover the solar panels, a task that was previously difficult or required testing at night.
