The Megger PVK330 is a photovoltaic (PV) kit designed for electricians and solar engineers to test and commission solar panel installations. It provides all the necessary additional instrumentation to accompany standard electrical testers, such as the Megger MFT1730.

Key features

  • Verifies manufacturer's data: The kit allows technicians to use the PVM210 irradiance meter with the DCM340 clampmeter to verify the short circuit current specified by the solar panel manufacturer.
  • Tests solar strings without disconnection: The DCM340 clampmeter can measure the current in each solar string, a group of panels wired in series, without having to break the circuit, which streamlines testing procedures.
  • Enables single-handed use: The compact PVM210 irradiance meter can be operated with one hand, which is ideal for technicians working at heights or on sloped roofs.
  • Comprehensive testing: The additional functions of the DCM340, such as resistance and frequency, can be used for general electrical testing within the PV installation.
