The Megger TDR500/3 is a handheld, compact time domain reflectometer (TDR) used for quickly and accurately locating faults on metallic cables. Its user-friendly interface makes it ideal for field engineers and technicians.

  • Automatic operation: The "AUTO selection" feature automatically adjusts the most effective test parameters for rapid fault diagnosis.
  • Trace hold: Allows the user to freeze a trace on the screen for easier analysis.
  • High resolution: Provides a minimum resolution of 0.1 meters (0.3 feet), depending on the velocity factor and cable type.
  • Fast pulse: The ultra-fast pulse helps identify near-end faults, including those less than 1 meter from the connection point.
  • Multiple impedances: Offers selectable output impedances of 25Ω, 50Ω, 75Ω, and 100Ω to accommodate various cable types.
  • Durable design: The IP54 rating protects the unit against dust and water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Long battery life: Uses 5 AA batteries and offers up to 14 hours of typical continuous use.
