The Mitutoyo 112-213 Point Micrometer is an analog tool designed for measuring the web thickness of drills, small grooves, keyways, and other hard-to-reach dimensions. It features a pointed anvil and spindle, both with carbide tips for durability, and a ratchet stop to ensure consistent measuring force.

Key features
  • Pointed spindle and anvil: Unlike standard micrometers with flat faces, this model has pointed measuring surfaces, allowing it to reach and measure in grooves, keyways, and web thicknesses of drill bits.
  • Small radius contact points: The carbide-tipped points have a very small radius (approximately 0.3 mm), enabling precise contact in narrow or confined spaces. 
  • Carbide-tipped points: The measuring surfaces are tipped with carbide, a very hard material that provides excellent wear resistance and ensures long-term accuracy.
  • Durable frame finish: The micrometer's frame is protected by a baked enamel finish, which offers good resistance to chipping and damage.
