The Mitutoyo 160-128 Vernier Caliper is an analog caliper with nib-style jaws and a fine adjustment wheel, designed for accurate inside and outside measurements up to 450 mm.

  • Nib-style jaws with fine adjustment: The caliper's rounded, nib-style jaws and fine adjustment carriage are engineered to make accurate, precise internal (ID) and external (OD) measurements.
  • Direct-reading scales: The design includes separate vernier scales for inside and outside measurements. This allows you to directly read the measurement for either without needing to perform calculations.
  • High readability: The scales have a satin chrome finish to reduce glare and a 14-degree face angle to minimize parallax error, making the readings easier and more accurate.
  • Durable construction: The caliper is constructed from hardened, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The raised sliding surfaces prevent the scale graduations from becoming worn and defaced over time.
  • Precision and range: It offers a metric measurement range of 0–450 mm, with a resolution of 0.02 mm and an accuracy of ±0.05 mm.
  • Locking screw: A locking screw holds the sliding jaw firmly in position to ensure the integrity of your measurement.
