The Mitutoyo 368-770 Holtest Inside Micrometer, type II, 50 to 63 mm is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer used for measuring the inside diameter of bores. The type II designation means it features economical, hardened tool-steel anvils instead of the premium titanium-coated anvils found on other models, but it maintains the same accuracy.

  • Three-point contact: Three anvils are spaced at 120° for accurate and stable self-centering measurement of inside dimensions.
  • Economical build: The use of alloyed steel anvils makes the Type II model more affordable than its titanium-coated counterparts, without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Blind bore measurement: The design of the micrometer allows for taking measurements close to the bottom of blind bores.
  • Extension rod capable: For measuring deep holes, an optional extension rod can be attached.
  • Clear display: The scale on the thimble and sleeve is laser-etched to improve legibility.
  • Fitted case: For protection, the tool comes in a fitted plastic case.
